Callaway X Utility ProtoType Hybrid Iron

Callaway X Utility Prototype Hybrid Iron with Steel Shaft The Callaway X Utility Prototype Hybrid Iron is made with a hollow forged construction and a High-Strength Maraging Steel face that produces high ball speeds. This utility iron is designed to provide a better and more versatile alternative to long irons in a variety of situations, like hitting off the tee on a tight par four or into a green from the fairway or rough. Available in three different lofts - 18, 21 and 24 degrees - it also features a shallow face height with a deep center of gravity and a very appealing, strong sound at impact. Tour-Inspired Sole Inspired by a prototype hybrid that Phil Mickelson played, Callaway Chief Designer Roger Cleveland relieved the heel and toe of this utility iron so that they move through grass easier and penetrate tougher lies in the rough. It also features more weight at the bottom and a deep center of gravity to help create higher launch angles. Forged for Performance Forged construction is designed for excellent feel along with a High-Strength Maraging Steel face to produce fast ball speeds. Versatile Design A weight screw is used to optimize the weight of the club for more options from a variety of lies. Trusted by the Best Players in the World Callaway X Utility Prototype Irons have already become a popular choice on the PGA Tour, where players like Phil Mickelson, Colt Knost, Kelly Kraft and Ernie Els are using them in competition. At the 2012 Open Championship, Els used three of these utility irons to win his second Claret Jug and fourth career major.

Tour Edge Exotics CB5 Hybrid The Tour Edge Exotics CB5 Hybrid combines a maraging steel cupped face with a hyper-steel body. The stronger maraging steel allows for a thinner face that has greater malleability for superior feel and distance. Adding to the design, the heavier hyper-steel body offers a lower center of gravity than previous CBs for remarkable forgiveness. Equipping the new CB5 to hit long shots, the hybrid features the Exotics Boomerang face design. The faces V-shaped boomerangs allow for the thinning and thickening of the material to produce longer shots even on off-center hits. The elegant form of the CB5 is also highlighted by a deep face that produces a penetrating ball flight. When combined with the smaller-than-traditional head and added face progression, the end result is exceptional workability. Additional features: Maraging steel cup face can be made thinner for superior feel and spring effect Heavier hyper-steel body offers lower center of gravity for remarkable forgiveness and higher initial launch angle Boomerang face design features multiple levels of thickness to produce superior launch on more face contact area Tour-preferred traditional style and design offers exceptional versatility and workability for better players

Nike VRS Covert Tour Hybrid

Nike VR_S Covert Tour Hybrid The Nike VR_S Covert Tour Hybrid is the worlds first high speed cavity back hybrid. The High Speed Cavity back design provides longer and straighter shots while Nikes patented FlexLoft allows for independent face angle and loft adjustability. The 3H head is adjustable from 17 to 21 degrees of loft and the 5H head is adjustable from 21 to 25 degrees of loft. Both have three face angle positions. Enhanced 2013 NexCOR Face Technology gives the deep face head a 45% larger hot zone for more distance and workability. The VR_S Covert Tour also features a Mitsubishi Rayon KURO KAGE Silver 80 shaft. High Speed Cavity Back Technology: The High Speed Cavity Back in the VR_S Covert is a technology used in irons, and now brought to drivers, fairways and hybrids for the first time by Nike Golf. The result is greater distance and control. The Cavity Back is visible from the sole view of the club, but is covered by the crown to be more pleasing at address hence the name Covert. By incorporating this new hidden geometry into fairway woods and hybrids, Nike Golf engineers have been able to move the weight of the club to the corners, raising Moment of Intertia (MOI) to increase forgiveness and add even more distance to off-center shots. FlexLoft Technology: Nike Golfs FlexLoft is a simple pull, turn, and push/tighten mechanism that allows for an intuitive adjustment system. The patented Dual Axis adjustment allows golfers to choose their loft and face angle independently of each other by de-coupling loft from face angle. This all leads to an optimal ball flight for more distance as well as enhanced workability. NexCOR Face Technology: The NexCOR face technology is designed to deliver faster ball speed and longer shots from a wider area of the face. NexCOR creates more speed at impact by employing variable face thickness that increases the ball speed off the clubface, especially on the bottom half where players are most likely to make contact.
